The property purchase price was £3,450,000 and they had been estimated to have to pay £325,250. As the team set to work on assessing this beautiful family home, they understood that the Annex attached to the property enabled the client to benefit from Subsidiary Dwellings Relief.
This meant that the new calculation for SDLT was £236,500, which meant that the client was eligible to make a saving of £88,750.
