The property was being purchased for £7,500,000, a huge development purchase that would benefit the local area.
Our team set to work and saw that due to the purpose and scale of the purchase, the client was eligible for Multiple Dwellings Relief.
This meant that they were eligible to receive a refund of £212,300 from HMRC, over half of what they had originally been estimated to pay.
